I was inspired by an article in my Stampin' Success magazine from Stampin' Up! and from an email from Family Fun to create decorate some back to school supplies for my daughter. Here's the notebook that I decorated for her. She's still a pink girl and loves butterflies. The butterflies are cut using the Big Shot. They are doubled-layered with a coordinating solid color butterfly underneath and a patterned butterfly on top. The butterfly on top is only attached at the middle so that the edges of the wings are free. I debated about whether to add more embellishments like buttons, brads, but I was concerned that they may catch on something and tear off so I kept it unembellished.
